5. Goal line technology
Goal-line technology is a method used to
determine when the ball has slightly crossed
the goal line with the assistance of electronic
devices and at the same time assisting the
referee in awarding a goal or not.

-This time the game between France

Honduras in group stage was decided

the goal line technology.
-France beat Honduras by 3-0 in which

of the goal was decided by GLT.

14. DISADVANTAGES OF GLT
 Technology is not 100% accurate.
 Its installation is very costly.
 It ruins the heart and soul of the game.
 Some older fans are more reluctant to
trust technology in making those kind
of goal decisions.
