A brief intro on LEED India, and its accompanying case studies (architectural) on the platinum rated CII Sohrabji Godrej, Hyderabad & ITC Green Center, Gurgaon
Spin Torque Transfer (STT) devices that can switch the magnetization of a ferromagnetic layer using spin polarized electrons have generated much interest due to their write information without any external magnetic field. The bias behavior of spin torque applied to Magnetic Tunnel Junctions (MTJs) is critical for applications including high density magnetic random access memory (MRAM) devices.
In this slides, we will present a Non-Equilibrium Green’s Function based transport for MTJ to investigate the bias dependence of torques. First, we use our model to show quantitative agreement with the diverse experimental aspects of STT devices namely (i) differential resistances, (ii) Tunnel magneto-resistance (TMR), and (iii) in-plane and (iv) out-of-plane torques. Second, based on our model, we analyze the reason why one of the ferromagnetic layers (free) experiences a larger torque when negative voltage is applied to the other magnetic layer (fixed). Third, we also propose an asymmetric STT structure that can lead to significant difference in the torques on two ferromagnetic contacts, even if they are identical. We couple our spin transport model with magnetization dynamics to explore the switching behavior of the MTJ device. Our preliminary results demonstrates the switching voltage asymmetry.

The project deals with the topic, “Design and Creative ideas for no-frills (low cost) Airports in tier-II and tier-III cities”. Indian government is planning to build small i.e., No-Frill Airports with rudimentary facilities, in order to bring down the cost of flying. Such airports will be a world apart from the swanky ones at Delhi and Mumbai. As per a blueprint being prepared by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), these airports, which will be located in small towns, will lack conveyor belts, arrival lounges and even air-conditioning. Luggage will have to be checked in manually. One air traffic control (ATC) tower will cater to a number of such airports.
Therefore, this project deals with the analyzing and understanding of basic facility requirements for the safe operations of the airports and thus give the maximum inputs with the overall idea to the industry to further proceed with the planning stage of no- frill airports. Also the project elucidates the primary requirements in the airports with cost effective manner and also proposes for the revenue generation strategies which provide profit for the airport authority.
In this Project it has been analyzed and observed all the necessary requirement for the airport operations and thus gave a brief suggestion on the no –frill airport facility requirements with reference to passenger and staff satisfaction levels.

5. Development The airport project is a public-private joint venture between GMR Group, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and both Government of Andhra Pradesh and Airports Authority of India (AAI). GMR Group holds 63% of the equity, MAHB 11%, while the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Airports Authority of India each hold 13%. Design and construction began in September 2005 and the airport was opened in March 2008.
10. Terminal 1 has 12 contact and 30 remote stands for aircraft parking.
11. Other buildings, including the air traffic control tower, Technical Building, cargo hangars (100,000 tonnes capacity), maintenance hangars, utilities under a combined area of 35,000 m2 (380,000 sq ft) have also been developed.

13. The terminal building will have 54 stands for aircraft parking. The low cost terminal will also be expanded to its full capacity of 1.5 m passengers per annum.
