What pushed people towards the idea of globalization? Globalization is the increasing interactions
of people for money, ideas, and culture. The earliest form of globalization in the world was the idea
of hunting and gathering societies. Hunting and gathering societies were groups of people
interacting with each other for new ideas and a better chance of survival. Hunting and gathering
societies were replaced by civilizations with the new idea of agriculture and farming. With the
abundance of food, populations could now increase and people no longer had to embark on
extensive travel for food. This allowed for people to create new technology, ideas, religions, culture,
and goods without worrying so much about survival. All over the world people are creating new
things, but they are doing this with different materials and ideas that others did not have. Some
people wanted money by selling their things to others. Other people's religions required them to

countries. However, this can also be beneficial in other situations as globalization gives you a larger

Globalization can be seen as a major threat for manufacturing jobs in the developed world, however,
can also be a benefit for developing world citizens who receive thousands of jobs a year although

of course, has only been able to develop because of the existence of low salaries and insufficient
flexibility in the labor market (April 10th, 1999). This indicates that globalization has jeopardized
Western countries jobs because companies are moving their establishments to developing countries
where they don't need to pay employees as much and where land is cheaper so overall businesses
benefit from this. Also, employees in the developed world are at risk of becoming redundant as they

There are good and bad things about globalization for every country. I am from Germany and I have
lived in the US for many years, so I am confident enough to speak about both countries.
Globalization had a great effect on both countries. Germany is an export country that relies on high
global demand for its products. Consequently, globalization and the EU have made it much simpler
for Germany to reach customers in other countries. German carmakers rely heavily on the US and
China. They studied the Chinese culture, even making special extended car models for China,
because Chinese customers prefer lots of space in the back seat. Next, the US has also benefited
greatly. The US has many Global brands that can be found in even the most unlikely of places. Fast
food restaurants are an excellent example of how US companies have expanded in other countries.
The great thing about these restaurants is that many customize their menus based on the country,
region, or city they are in. Furthermore, both countries have many globally focused organizations
and region–country focused organizations. Germany and the US have both benefited greatly from
globalization. Through globalization, both of the countries companies have not only managed to
