designed to load test functional behavior
and measure performance.
It was originally designed for testing Web Applications
but has since expanded to other test functions.

Why was User Agent Switcher created?
The User Agent Switcher extension adds a menu and a
toolbar button to switch the user agent of a browser.
It was initially written in order to bypass sites that block
Firefox even though they work perfectly under Firefox.
Fortunately this is less of an issue than it used to be,
but it can still be a problem and there are other reasons
that people have found to use the extension, such as
emulating mobile devices in the context of load testing.
