This document discusses several plants that are typical of Mediterranean vegetation and can grow with little water. It describes the characteristics and habitats of thyme, sage, olive trees, bay laurel, and rosemary. Students are shown planting and caring for some of these Mediterranean plants, including cleaning the soil, preparing soil beds, and transplanting olive trees, bay laurel and rosemary bushes.
