Hazrat Sheikh Khwaja Syed Moinuddin Hasan Chisti, known as Gharib Nawaz, was a prominent saint born in 1141 in Khorasan, who became a significant spiritual figure in the Indian subcontinent and passed away in 1236 in Ajmer. He was a descendant of the Holy Prophet through his mother and gained respect due to his scholarship and modesty. The Dargah Sharif in Ajmer, a revered shrine for Muslims, is dedicated to him and attracts devotees from all sects.
