Paul John leads and speaks, continuing the series ‘Getting to
know God better’. Today he speaks on ‘The glory of God’ (Exodus
33:12-34:8). Includes communion.
Children and young people will leave for their
own activities at the beginning of the service.

2. There is a Church Members’ meeting this Wednesday 22nd
January, 8pm at Old Mill Hall.
There is a Building Vision Prayer Breakfast this Saturday
25th January, 8:30am at Old Mill Hall. Please come and join
with us in praying for the future of GFEC and enjoy a coffee
and a croissant (£2.00 donation appreciated).
Our next collection of items for donation to the Wantage and
Grove Foodbank will be next Sunday 26th January. Please see the
list at the back of the church for suitable items for donation.
The Homelessness Sunday 2014 appeal is supporting the
Oxford Gatehouse, a church run Drop In centre for
homeless people in Oxford. They request donations of
‘Soaps or Sweaters, Flannels or Fleeces’ i.e. good quality
warm clothing and/or toiletries (especially for men). Keep
those unwanted presents and donate them to a good cause. We will collect
them in church next week on Homelessness Sunday, 26th January 2014.
GFEC Away Day on Sunday 2nd March: We have planned
a Sunday away together at Windmill Farm Conference
Centre, Clanfield. It should be a great time of fun,
fellowship, sharing, teaching and getting to know one
another. Please join us as we consider ‘Shaping the future of GFEC’. Please
see Debbie to book. Prompt responses very much appreciated!
