Space Academy Holiday Bible Club - 1 week to go! Please
pray for those preparing the games, crafts, songs, Bible
stories, memory verse, parent mornings, worksheets,
newsletters and administration. Please pray that God will
prepare the hearts and minds of all those attending. Next
Sunday (27th
) we will be going across to Millbrook School at
1pm to set-up and prepare the venue, please join us if you can.

James entitled ‘Developing a faith that works’, Pastor Paul John
speaks on ‘Helping others into wholeness’ (James 5:13-20). Sarah
Shewring will be with us to give an update on Cornerstone.

There is a Building Vision Prayer Breakfast on Saturday
26th
July, 8:30am at Old Mill Hall. Please come and join with
us in praying for the future of GFEC and enjoy a coffee and
a croissant (£2.00 donation appreciated).
Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal - there will be a Coffee Morning
to raise funds for the Shoebox Appeal at the Methodist
Church, 10-12 noon, on Saturday 2nd August. There will be a
‘bring and buy stall’ - proceeds to Shoebox. Shoebox leaflets
will be available at the back of the Church from this Sunday.
On Friday 15th August we will be holding our men’s golf
evening. 9 holes at the par 3 course in Faringdon followed
by a 2-course meal at Carswell Golf & Country Club. Flyers
are available. Please contact Paul to book in so that we can
know how many meals to order.
