for Syria’ on Monday 21st October, 1 - 2 pm.
Wantage and Grove Street Pastors invite you to their
Birthday Celebration and AGM, 7:30pm Monday 21st October
at Wantage Methodist Church.
Reach for the Light: GFEC are hosting a free fun Light Party,
for the whole family, 4 - 6 pm on Thursday 31st October at Old
Mill Hall. All are welcome to come along and join us for games,
quizzes, food, drama & songs. See Helen for more details.
Sunday 3rd November has been designated as ‘National Adoption
Sunday’. GFEC will be exploring the subject of adoption and
fostering during a special ‘Home for Good’ all-age Brunch service.
We are inviting families from Funday Club and the Light Party to
join us. Bacon rolls and drinks will be available.
On Tuesday 12th November, Paul John & Barrie Steers will again
be undertaking a 40 mile bike ride on behalf of Cornerstone. If
you would like to sponsor Paul, please complete the sponsorship
form on the back table.
Next Sunday
10:30am: Andy Hooker leads. Continuing the series from Ecclesiastes,
‘How can I find meaning in life?’; Pastor Paul John speaks on ‘How do I put
wisdom to work?’ (Ecclesiastes 4:4-5:7). During the service we will be
commending and praying for Abi Kerr as she moves to Watford to
commence the Soul61 leadership training course.
