En tan sólo 2 años están reorientando su presencia en Internet con la expectativa de que esta se convierta en uno de los canales prioritarios para su negocio. Así vemos como los patrones y componentes tecnológicos que hace 2 años protagonizaban los proyectos Web (y que hoy están, al menos técnicamente, resueltos en buena medida) hoy son complementados y casi ninguneados en protagonismo por otros elementos como la interacción social y en tiempo real, el comercio electrónico y la optimización del enfoque comercial a través de un análisis ad-hoc y predictivo de los intereses de los clientes.
Con la expectativa de más de 2000 millones de personas y 1 billón de dispositivos conectados a Internet en 2011, la oportunidad de negocio es enorme pero la competición está ahora al alcance de muchos más protagonistas.

Web Content Management. Se ocupa de todo el ciclo editorial y de publicación Web de los contenidos, tratados desde una perspectiva universal, multicanal y reutilizable.
Software Social. Este componente, basado en la plataforma de Software Social de IBM, incluye las funcionalidades de interacción social entre los usuarios (sean cliente y/o empleados) que permiten construir el diálogo entre empresa y clientes. Incluye mecanismos de blogs, wikis, comunidades, perfiles profesionales y red de contactos con notificaciones, recomendación de marcadores compartidos y etiquetas entre otros servicios

Rich Media. Tecnología para proveer la creación, gestión, distribución y publicación de contenido multimedia: audio, video, imágenes y animaciones (entre otros). • eForms –Si necesita automatizar formularios actualmente en papel y los procesos de negocio basados en formularios, puede agregar Lotus Forms, que reduce costes mediante la eliminación de la impresión, distribución, procesamiento y almacenamiento de papel, además de reducir las tasas de error y proporcionar registros auditables y compatiblse - todo en el contexto de la experiencia del usuario web.
• Mobile – IBM Customer Experience Suite es una platafroma movilizada, que permite trasladar las aplicaciones basadas en navegador a los dispositivos de gama alta como el iPhone y Blackberry.
