Verbs followed by objects and infinitives 
There are some verbs that are followed by an infinitive, 
but some verbs must be followed by an object before an 
infinitive: 
Examples: 
1. The deputies agreed to lower the driving age even 
though the people were against it. 
2. The newspaper reminded all 18-year-olds to vote
