  • 2. Economic Background • It’s the business hub of Africa. • Huge Student Market. • Lack of practical skills among the youth and huge corporate investment in the same. Not much competition in terms of youth organizations providing international opportunities.
  • 3. Which entity supported the expansion and why? • AIESEC India , AIESEC Brazil , AIESEC Mainland of China and AIESEC Germany. They believed that the entity had potential and should not be shut down.
  • 4. Which platforms did you use to engage young people with AIESEC activities? •Social Media •University Media ( Radio , newspaper and website) •Guerrilla Marketing at the university •Engagement events

How did you increase the recruitment results for ELD programmes? • Sold OGX as a premier recruitment strategy • Build an engagement event : Student Apprentice Challenge • Build an exciting social media campaign : "Reason to Believe“ • Roped in university professors to endorse AIESEC to the students RnR campaign around recruitment
  • 6. How did you generate operational revenues to ensure financial sustainability? • OGCDP has been the Financial Model and the reason for the turnaround for the AIESEC entity.
