scheduled first gas.
As a member of the electrical commissioning/management team sent to Syria by Suncor, I
consider this project a particularly rewarding event in my career. The environment, culture and
workforce presented unique challenges to its successful completion.
LONG LAKE NEXEN PROJECT
2007-2009 Debottlenecking project

This Project was the second phase of the Nexen Long lake project. It was my responsibility to
manage all aspects of the commissioning process as shown perviously. The project itself had
4. many issues from engineering to vendor equipment issues that were impediments to meeting
project goals.
With the help of excellent technicians under my supervision, and, dedication to problem solving
the project did get on line and operated successfully from an electrical prospective.

At the Nexen project I was first hired on as an electrical technician to test and start the
electrical equipment on site for the multimillion dollar project.
As the scope of work, and number of personal increased I was selected and promoted to
coordinator status.
I embraced this expressed confidence in me very seriously and I dedicated myself totally to the
project and position. This was a important advancement in my career; I must succeed, and did.
As a result of that success OTSl continued to position me in several future projects in the
coordinator role as shown by the preceding positions. The experience gained throughout my
career in maintenance, construction and supervision were the building blocks for that success.

Project brought to completion. Snip Creek was a highly profitable gold mine and
