Sky Lupine is a perennial wildflower native to coastal areas of western North America from British Columbia to California. It typically grows 1-3 feet tall and 1-2 feet wide, blooming from February to May with showy sky-blue pea-like flowers. The plant dies back to the ground in summer. Sky Lupine is a good addition to wildflower gardens and prairies, and can also be used as a groundcover. It re-seeds readily and attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds while providing a nectar source.
