1. Final Test
There are 4 diverse topic situations for students to act out in a role play.
Restaurant Problem:You are eating at a restaurant when you discover a
cockroach in your food. You call the waiter over to complain.In pairs, roleplay this situation with Student Aacting as the customer, and Student B
acting as the waiter.
Relationship Problem:Student A. Your friend is getting married soon. You
heard a lot of bad things about her boyfriend/his girlfriend (what are these
things? Think of examples!). Tell your friend what you heard. Student B. You are
getting married soon and you couldn`t be happier. Your boyfriend/girlfriend is a
wonderful person! But you think your friend is jealous of your happiness. Maybe
she/he likes your boyfriend/girlfriend? Now your friend wants to talk to you.
Picking a Movie in the Cinema:Student A. You want to go to the cinema with your
boyfriend/girlfriend and you have a cinema near you. You’ll phone the cinema and ask what
movies are on, ask genres of each movie, what the films are about, at what time the movies are
on, whether the movie is 3D or not, the ticket price and decide which movie you want to see and
reserve a ticket.Student B hasto provide the information the customer is asking.
Movies and Genres
1)Mamá(2013) – Horror movie. PLOT: In this film, Annabel
and Lucas must take care of his two nieces, two small who
disappeared in the woods the same day her mother was
killed. Years later they start a new life, but find someone or
something still wants to be around them at night, so maybe they were never alone.
2) Despicable Me 2(2013) – Family action comedy. PLOT: Gru is one of the
greatest villains of the world, but he has decided to leave behind his career of evil to
become the perfect dad. While he tries, he’s recruited by anultra-secret and anticriminal
organization. Suddenly, happens to be in the side of the good and lend a hand to
save the world. But now the former evil faces other everyday problems: keep three

2. girls and invite a woman to dinner, which fully shows your buttons.
Job Interview:Student A. Your company needs a new employee
and you’re the employer in change of selecting this new
person. You have already prepared the questions for the
interview such as: tell me about yourself, what are your
strengths, best skills?; are you able to speak other
languages?;what is your major weakness?; what are your
plans for the future?; why should we hire you?; what are your
salary expectations?. Student B. You have applied for a job and they finally called you for the
interview. You’re very confident about your skills and prepared to answer the interview in the
best possible way.
Gypsy Role Play: Student A. You are visiting a fortune teller to ask
questions about your future. Student B.You are the customer who goes to
the fortune teller to ask for your future life.
Fifa World Cup Interview Role-Play:
Student Ahas traveled to the Fifa World Cup
scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June
to 13 July 2014. The fan is going to share his
experience. Student B is going to interview
student A for a local channel.
Familly Matters. Student A.Your wife has got a new job in another country. You don’t
want to move, but this is a good opportunity for her. You have a daughter of 8 years and
you are not sure that such changes will be good for her. Discuss the situation with you
wife.Student B.You have got a new job in another country. You husband doesn’t
want to move, but this is a good opportunity for YOU. You have a daughter of 8
