2. Ginaw Bilog
Ginaw Bilog is a Hanunoo Mangyan poet from Mansalay,
Oriental Mindoro. He is considered as a master of the
Ambahan poetry. This wisdom is his key to the understanding
of the Mangyan soul. In 1993, he was given the Gawad sa
Manlilikha ng Bayan award. He grew up in such a cultural
environment. Already steeped in the wisdom that the
ambahan is a key to the understanding of the Mangyan soul,
Ginaw took it upon himself to continually keep scores of
ambahan poetry recorded, not only on bamboo tubes but on
old, dog-eared notebooks passed on to him by friends.
- Hanunuo mangyan from Mansalay, Mindoro, grew up in

Was a filipino poet, bard artist, musician who
is palawan native known for his performance
of the local traditons of basal, kulilal and
bagit. He is also recepient of the National
living treasure recognition. He was born on
Aspril 10,1943 in Makagwa Valley and live

6. Samaon Sulaiman
Was a Filipino musician who is
recepient of the National Living
Treasure Award. The
Maguindanaon is known for his
mastery of the indigenous kutyapi
instrument. He was born on March
3, 1953. his genres was folk and
the instrument was kutyapi. He
was recognized as Maganoy.

Was a Filipino traditional weaver
who has a recepient of the National
Living Treasures award. She was
born on august 3, 1928. Residence

9. Salinta Monon
Was a filipinotextile weaver who was
the one of two recepients of The
National Living Treasures Awards in
1998. She was known for her Bagobo;
Tagabawa textiles and was known as
the first Bagobo weaver. She was born
on december 20, 1920.

11. Alonzo Saclag
Was born on August 14, 1942. A member of the
Kalinga People and native of Lubuagan, Kalinga
province, saclag taught himself of his people
traditions in the performing arts.
Was conferred the Natonal Living Treasure
Award in 2000. By 2016, he has established a
village within his town, named, awichon which
aims to promote kalinga culture to Tourist.

12. Federico Caballero
Born on December 25, 1938, Caballero is of the
Panay-Bukidnon people from the Central Panay
mountains. He is known for his work on the
documentation of the oral literature, particularly
the ten epics. These epics are rendered in an
extinct language related to Kinaray-a.Federico
Caballero who is also called Nong Pedring learned
about epics from his mother and his grandmother,
Anggoy Omil who would chant these to him and
his siblings as a lullaby. When Anggoy and his
mother died, he went on to continue the
traditions and documented these epics which are
referred to as the Labaw Dunggon and
Humadapnon epics with researchers.
13. He is married to Lucia, who is a binukot a title similar to a princess
in Panay-Bukidnon tradition and has three children.
He worked with the Bureau of Nonformal Education, to teach
people how to read and write and would promote the tradition of
epic chanting despite the initial objection of his children.He also
worked as the manughusay in his local community, an arbiter who
helps resolves disputes and conflicts in the community. He is
considered as a bantugan due to his positive influence extending
beyond his community. And he is good at doing anything that
peoples tell him to do, So he's basically a jack of trade. The
National Commission for Culture and the Arts recognized him as
a National Living Treasure in the year 2000 for "weaving the fabric
of oral tradition"
14. Uwang Ahadas
Was born on February 15, 1954. he went near blind when he was
five years old. Ahadas along his siblings musicians were taught
how to play yakan tradition instruments as children. He first
learned how to play gabang, a wooden bamboo instrument
similar to xylophone, then he learned how to play the agung an
instrument traditionally played yakan men.

15. Darhata Sawabi
-is a weaver of pis syabit- the traditional
cloth tapestry worn as head covering the
Tausug of Jolo, from Barangay Parang, in the
island of Jolo, Sulu province.
Darahata Sawabi’s art of textile and
especially of the pis syabit has been pased
down generation by generation. Pis syabit
weaving is a difficult art.

16. Eduardo Mutuc
◦ Apalit, Pampangga
◦ -was awarded the Gawad Creator of the year in 2005. For
his dedication to his retribution, altar, charter, and other
religions or secular art works using silver and wood. In his
home and church he found his creations. There are small
ones like cherubs and there about 40 feet. Age 29 when
Mutuc engages in carving. He was a former who wanted
to increase his income because of growing families.
Because he knew that there was not much opportunity for
an elementary graduate, he worked hard on the chosen
art although he knew he was only 3 pesos to be home to
the family everyday. One year he was been guided by
skilled crafts men. By his 5th year a friend taught him
silver plating. It is an art of design drawings, carving of its
matrix of wood, molding of metallic designs, and
molding of designs in boiling silver.
