economy is growing rapidly. The Indian
economy is the 12th largest in the world and
is expected to continue to grow quickly.
Industry, services and agriculture drive the
economy
 India has a mixed economy. This means that
the country has both private and government
operations within the market system.

is defined as a process by which varying
degrees of measurable value enhancement is
planned and achieved, in any commercial activity
by the introduction of new or improved goods,
services and processes. Innovation is the necessary
core competence to remain competitive in this new
