 Self-healing materials are polymers, metals, ceramics and their
composites that when damaged through thermal, mechanical, ballistic
or other means have the ability to heal and restore the material to its
original set of properties.
 Example :
Nissan Motor Co. Ltd has commercialized world’s first self-healing
clear coat for car surfaces. The trade name of this product is ‘‘Scratch
Guard Coat’’

Nanotechnology could be the new hope of cancer
patients since it's been shown to make Radiation
Therapy of cancer more effective.
Now, a research team led by Sunil Krishnan, M.D.,
of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson
Cancer Center, has found that pretreating tumors with
gold nanoparticles and near-infrared radiation dramatically
improves the response of tumors to radiation therapy.

• Wireless technology can now deliver electric
power to moving vehicles.
• The vehicle floor receive power remotely via an
electromagnetic field broadcast from cables
installed under the road.
• The current also charges an on-board battery.

undergoing road tests in Seoul, South Korea.

Summary
• Nowadays everyday and every second something new is being invented in the
world, technology has changed a lot.
• We have evolved from computers the size of our rooms to something that fits in
our palms, materials having very less life span to material able to heal
themselves.
• This shows that the human mind has no limits, it can do anything create
anything
• “SKY IS THE LIMIT“
• All this has made our life much easier, reducing the required for our day to day
activities. Like in the past people used to travel on foot while now we have OLEV
which completely runs on electrical mechanism, also we have roll top which has
all the facilities of computer, scanner, etc in one device, thus reducing our
baggage.
• It has made our lives simpler and faster.
