Future in the Past Tenses are used in subordinate
clauses, which depend from principal clause with a
predicate in the past tense for expressing of an
action in the future.
Briefly, Future in the Past is used in complex
sentences and expresses a plan of an action:
I thought I would come by the morning train.
P.S: Sometimes Future in the Past tenses mean not
only future actions:
I said I should come today, and so I'm here!
