Future Forms
Will + infinitive (without to) is used to talk about a
future fact or prediction:
Examples:
-It will be really hot.
-It’ll rain today.
Or to write formally about the future:
Example:
-They’ll collect money from sponsors when they
finish.
Be + going to + infinitive is used to talk about
future plans:
Examples:
-What are you going to do tomorrow?
I am going to play basketball.
We’re going to visit my grandparents.
The Simple Present can be used to talk about
future schedule events or timetables.
Examples:
-We leave on June 15th
-They arrive on the 1st of June.
