Mher Mkrtchyan was born in 1930 in Armenia to refugee parents from the Turkish massacres. He had two names, Frunzik and Mher, and was known across Armenia for his acting talents. He began his career in 1955 and was renowned for his roles in films such as "Kidnapping Caucassian Style" and "The Big Win." Mkrtchyan believed that acting showed the full range of human emotions and experienced both great success and personal tragedies in his life. He spent his final days in loneliness, grieving the loss of his daughter and his native town, before passing away in 1993 in Yerevan.
