The document discusses user experience as both a flow across channels and as a narrative. It summarizes that a retailer's ability to create a seamless shopping experience across channels is key to customer loyalty. It also discusses how rhythm can be used to ensure a seamless experience across different touchpoints or channels. The document concludes by recapping that the shift is from focusing on individual products to creating an ecosystem, with user experience being a flow across multiple channels and rhythm being a potential way to achieve this.

a presentation about touch point orchestration, and how to design customer experiences using the customer journey and multi-disciplinary design management
Technology is evolving at an accelerated pace and the opportunities to create new products and services present challenges for both established organizations and emerging entrepreneurs alike. The role of UX research and design goes beyond developing simple, beautiful and user-friendly interfaces and has become and essential component of how organizations understand and design for their future success.

[Eng] Our society is evolving from a product-based economy to an experience-based economy. What are the consequences for journalism? What does a transition from a product to an experience perspective mean for journalism and publishing? It means moving the focus of attention:
1. from production to content curation
2. from the item to the ecosystem, or from the entity to the relationship
3. from the static to the dynamic (including the time factor)
4. from the paper vs. web opposition to the integration between atoms and bits.

Participatory Design Workshop for MuseumsNina Simon

DPF Manager is an open source modular TIFF conformance checker that is extremely easy to use, to integrate with existing and new projects, and to deploy in a multitude of different scenarios. It is designed to help archivists and digital content producers ensure that TIFF files are fit for long term preservation, and is able to automatically suggest improvements and correct preservation issues. The team developing it has decades of experience working with image formats and digital preservation, and has leveraged the support of 60+ memory institutions to draft a new ISO standard proposal (TIFF/A) specifically designed for long term preservation of still-images. An open source community will be created and grown through the project lifetime to ensure its continuous development and success. Additional commercial services will be offered to make DPF Manager self-sustainable and increase its adoption.
This presentation provided an opening look at the topic of digital-age storytelling in museums, with an emphasis on web and social media outreach and the ways in which museums can be both storytellers as well as platforms for stories. I served as moderator for the panel discussion which featured 3 other case studies from the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the National Museum of American History, and the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park.
