Adverbs of frequency are used to describe how often something occurs. They come before the main verb if the verb is not "to be" and after the verb "to be." Examples of common adverbs of frequency are given along with their approximate meanings in percentages. Two exercises are provided to practice correctly placing adverbs of frequency in sentences based on when the main verb is or isn't "to be."
