• Female freedom.
• Today’s time freedom.
• Role of society.
• So What ?
3. ABOUT SCARLET LETTER
• The Scarlet Letter: A Romance is a work of historical fiction by American author
Natheniel Hawthorne, published in 1850.
• The Novel is set in a village in Puritan New England.
• The main character is Hester Prynne, a young woman who has borne a child out
of wedlock.
• She was married with Chillingworth, and affair with Dimmesdale with one
reason.
• She gave birth of child, affairs with Dimmesdale, and face punishment of
Adultery.
4. FEMALE FREEDOM
• She live alone.
• So she think about other man, for sake of happiness, as her freedom of
choice.
• She wanted to live happy with Dimmasdale
• She can’t do anything like education, marriage.
• If any girl do this things without permission, her family, peoples of village
against her.
5. TODAY’S TIME FREEDOM
• City people’s are much abroad than village.
• Village are still following old rules, like in Scarlet letter.
• What family member said other have to follow that, without any question.
• Example of secret super star, story of baroda side.
• She want to become a singer, but her father not agree, and she fight for
freedom.
• If in city can’t have freedom even they not too much nerrow mind, than in
village can’t think about go out of village for education, even family choose
marriage, without any think about his daughter is happy or not.
6. ROLE OF SOCIETY
• If you do something wrong society was against you and even your family agaist you
as(naak katadi hamari).
• But if you against all and follow your passion and than you success in that society
feel proved.
• If you follow there rules, they can’t raise any question.
7. SO WHAT ?
• Villagers are still live old rules life. As we see in Scarlet letter.
• Even in city have some narrow minded people that not gave freedom to child.
• We live in 21th century, but some are village still follow old rules, for sake of
ststus(aabru).
