My recent role within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals was the deployment of Lorenzo. My primary
role was Business Change/Implementation Consultant and Configuration Lead, being a subject
matter expert in Inpatient Consultation, Requests and Results and inpatient e-Whiteboard.
Other duties within my role were:
 Arranging and facilitating Business Process Workshops, engaging with the appropriate
Trust staff.
 Development and reviewing Business Process Maps.
 Creation and execution of Business Process Validation test scripts, supporting the Trust
staff.
 Lorenzo system configuration across all deployment units, ie. Outpatients, inpatients etc.
 Assessing data migration loads throughout the project.
 Development of patient condition pathways.
 Trust support in the Configuration of the production environment.
 Configuration and end user training of e-Whiteboard inpatient system.
 Supporting the business after go-live, including Emergency Department, wards and
outpatient areas across the Trust.

From October 2013 I was the main point of contact on site at Tameside Hospital NHS Trust as part
of CSC deployment of Lorenzo to manage the transition from their current PAS Medway system to
Lorenzo. This project was on a large scale in that the Trust were deploying not only the PAS
system but other deployment units, which meant supporting the Trust in the following areas:-

become and early adopter with over 5000 users across 5 hospital sites. In the initial stages, I
travelled to Chennai, in India with the Trust to enhance the functionality of the product with the
CSC developers.
Over the scope of the project, I was involved in the following activities:

Wirral Hospital Trust 2002 to 2014
Principal Primary Care Ops / IT analyst
 Manage team of analysts in day to day delivery of local and national NHS projects to over
60 GP surgeries using the following clinical systems:- Torex, Emis and INPS.
 Advise the PCT about Primary Care NHS issues and developments locally by attending
local meetings.
 Organise and chair regular local meetings with clinical suppliers to discuss outstanding
issues for each GP practice, discuss any requirements or problems the practice may have.
 Provide GP practices with email addresses and install local address books in each and
every site.
 Advise and guide practices on the route to gaining paperless practice accreditation.

THE LITTLEWOODS ORGANISATION 1979 to 2002
Principal Operations Analyst 1998 to 2002
 Evaluating, developing and implementing software packages for Computer Operations so
that
systems can run efficiently.
 Reviewing and influencing systems design in order to facilitate cost efficient and effective
operational running.
 Ensure all computer systems are available to the business and end users and that any
interruption or outage is minimised in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
 Training staff to enable them to develop skills required for their job.

project (Mercury) has enabled Littlewoods to streamline and automate their warehouse and
return centres and offer a more efficient ordering and delivering service to agents like same
day delivery and guaranteed 24-hour delivery.
Operations Analyst 1990-1998
 Produced relevant schedules and documentation pertaining to overnight/weekend batch
processing requirements.
 Collaborated with personnel from Systems Development and Technical Support areas.
 Ensured all housekeeping of system data and software were regularly backed-up for
disaster back-up purposes.
 Liaised with users both within and outside the company regarding provision of
systems/output to meet their requirements.
Achievements
 Tested and implemented auto batch scheduling software for MVS applications which is the
accepted monitoring system for all batch processing (Control-M).
 Undertaken disaster backup exercises in designated out of town sites to re-enact the
possibilities and outcome of part or major loss in everyday running of the computer
