3. At NVISH I worked on a project iNERVE – HIS (Hospital Information Systems). It is an
elaborate application for a Corporate/Public Hospitals. My major responsibility was Project
Management in order to play a significant role in a successful delivery.
Features like Scalability, Compliance, Agility and Accessibility were kept as prime goal.
It was developed with Agile methodology, though the initial requirement was taken at large
as it is vital for any project to have documentation to make the project HIPPA compliant. It
improved overall pace of development. It gives ability to incorporate user and stakeholder
feedback early in the development cycle which helps ensure a successful product is built
with the features that reflect current business needs. Agile allows suggestions to be added
in earlier instead of later, when changes are more costly.
Scrum practices were used while development. Had Test Driven Deliveries (TDD) for
separate modules. Conducted Scrum meetings to ensure: What problems are being
encountered (that can cause “drag” and reduce team velocity); what is currently being done;
what needs to be done (priorities for the day).
The application covers all the processes of each department of a hospital including: PAS,
Online Patient Appointments, Patient Registration (Generation of unique ID), Out Patient, In
Patient, Ward Management (admission, bed allocation, patient movement, doctor visit), OT
management, Main stores(Inventory Management & Materials Requirement Planning),

explained to the development team

of the client is met and the product is delivered

after marked for rectification to the development team.
