2. WHAT THEY ARE
Sea snakes are sub family of venomous
(poisonous) snakes, that live in the marine
environment for most of their lives. Some
examples of sea snakes are olive sea snake
and banded sea krait. Their scientific name
is hydrophiinae.

3. Life Cycle
The female snake reproduces eggs. The eggs
remain with the mother’s body until they are
ready to hatch into baby snakes. Later they grow
to become adult snakes.
