A franchise is an agreement or bargain
whereby the owner of a trademark, brand
name or copyright grants others license to use
it in selling goods and services. Examples of

A “Franchisee” is as a person who purchased or
acquired the rights to use a company’s
trademark or copyrighted property in their own
business. OR, can simply be defined as a
purchaser of a franchise

A franchisor is simply the person that grants
the license to the franchisee (The purchaser of
the franchise) so his trademark name may
then be used.
