There are four main types of title sequences: discrete title sequences which can be a separately edited mini film to introduce the story; credit over blank screen sequences which simply list the production crew against a blank background to add mystery; stylized sequences which use creative editing and music to visually represent details without being realistic; and narrative sequences which provide a preview of the film's plot or tone through voiceover to set expectations for the direction of the movie.

2. Discrete Title Sequence
Separately edited from film, the scenes in film is not in it, mini film can also be a
self enclosed mini film. This could be used to give you an idea of what the film
could be about.

3. Credit over blank screen title sequence
Consists of title sequence on a blank screen could be used to add a mystery.
They are mainly used to present, identify all the production crew and casts who
helped out in the film.

4. Stylised title sequence
Music is used in varies ways and could show motion editing makes it so we can
see all detail. All blood you can see not meant look real.

5. Narrative title sequence
Tells us what is going to happen, this could be used so you can get a feel of what
films are like. Depending on the voice and tone of voice we could dictate what
direction the movie will go or how it's likely to be/ turn out.
