stories

Location Shooting and Wide shots
- Social Realism films are often filmed in real life locations, for
example council estates, flats and parks.
- Using these locations, as opposed to fiming in a studio gives
the film a sense of realism for the audience.
- Social Realism shots tend to use a variety of camera shots but
majority of those shots are wide shots, to allow the audience
to know where the setting is and also giving them a good
understanding of whats going on in the film.
