 Reacting negatively and very publicly to customer

 Don’t talk down to your customer base and make them feel
  inferior
 Don’t be too pushy and send out messages that scream

Social Media Marketing (SMM)  Marketing done through social media applications such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and many more  Very Popular  Easier to target consumers by demographics  Very cheap and effective way to communicate with current and potential customers  A whole new community to engage in

DO’S  Treat customers with respect and maintain a good sense of humor and rapport  Customers like getting involved in the marketing process only if it showcases something positive about themselves  Make the campaign very interactive and engaging. People will more likely help promote the brand if they feel they are a part of the process.
  • 10. DON’TS  Reacting negatively and very publicly to customer interaction  Don’t talk down to your customer base and make them feel inferior  Don’t be too pushy and send out messages that scream “Marketing”
