This document describes a proposed system to generate electricity from foot traffic on walkways. The system uses a vibrating platform that converts the kinetic energy from footsteps into electrical energy through Faraday's law of induction. A transformer boosts the low voltage output, then a rectifier converts it to DC power which can be stored in a battery. Sensors on the platform detect vibrations and a digital meter measures the output voltage. The system aims to produce additional renewable power through an inexpensive, simple design that does not depend on weather conditions.
