This project explores transportation design concepts for Mexico City in the year 2050, focusing on autonomous vehicles and urban mobility issues. Single-seat vehicles that can split apart and merge together to form larger vehicles are conceptualized, drawing inspiration from tessellations and feathers. Form studies were conducted to design both split and merged configurations. The interior design emphasizes the open space created when vehicles merge and connect passengers. A final design was developed that can split into single seats or merge into a four-seater vehicle, addressing future transportation needs in dense urban environments.
