Dennis Yu designed a compact vehicle project that can merge with another vehicle to expand into a 4-seater. The vehicles are able to merge through the use of advanced polymer materials and technology, creating an open space between the users. The project was inspired by tessellations and feathers to allow the vehicles to morph and merge their exterior and interior forms. An animation of the vehicles splitting apart and merging together was created and can be viewed online.
