CEMflex VB is a steel plate waterstop that can seal construction joints horizontally or vertically up to 8 bar of water pressure. It has passed animal manure and drinking water approvals according to European standards. Installation is simple as it requires only 3 cm of concrete cover on both sides and can be placed into fresh concrete without special equipment or welding in any weather. CEMflex VB provides a permanent seal of concrete joints through a coating that chemically reacts during curing to swell and crystallize, sealing the joint without disrupting concrete sintering.

construction joints, horizontally or vertically, up to a
maximum water-pressure of 80 meter (8 bar).
A resistance against farm slurries according to

2. CEMflex VB is the result of an elaborated research-
and development process at BPA Company, the
experienced partner in waterproofing solutions!
CEMflex VB elements are provided with a special
coating on both sides.
The unique connection of the special coating to
the concrete prevents any water-flow through the
concrete construction joint!
Besides the extremely good bond to the surrounding
concrete, the special coating on CEMflex VB produ-
ces a chemical reaction which causes a slight swel-
ling of the coating, which then crystallizes and seals
without effecting the natural sintering of the concrete.
