This document discusses Anti-Hydro, a non-corrosive admixture that has been used since 1904 to integrally waterproof concrete and increase its workability, strength, hardness, and durability. Anti-Hydro reacts with portland cement to produce more complete hydration, reducing water requirements and shrinkage while increasing early and ultimate strength. This results in impermeable, hard, and non-dusting concrete. When added to concrete or other cement mixes, Anti-Hydro produces dense, durable, waterproof materials. It works by increasing hydration from typical ranges of 65-70% to around 95%, yielding denser, harder, and impermeable materials that act as a vapor barrier.
