This document discusses the materials and properties of floating concrete. It proposes using aluminum wire mesh or carbon fiber mesh in place of steel wire mesh to reduce weight. Lightweight aggregates like pumice stone are suggested. Aluminum powder and calcium chloride are used as admixtures to create air pockets and shorten setting time. Nano-silica is added to improve strength. Waterproofing agents are needed since porosity should be near zero. The concrete has lower density, is insulating, workable, durable, and earthquake resistant but has less compressive strength than regular concrete. Skilled labor and certain conditions are limitations.
