The WaveInjector allows for ultrasonic flow measurement on pipes carrying liquids at temperatures up to 400°C. It consists of a coupling plate and transducer clamps that maintain a temperature gradient to prevent the transducers from exceeding their maximum permissible temperature. The WaveInjector provides loss-free ultrasonic coupling between standard clamp-on transducers and the pipe for continuous measurement, even in explosive atmospheres, without interrupting process flow. It is commonly used for explosion-proof flow measurement in chemical processes above 200°C and measuring heat transfer oil flow.
