Problem Statement 01-CAD01
Domain - Electronics (IoT System Design)
• In this problem an IoT based Smart Meter system for measuring
the electrical consumption in Smart Homes, capable of analyzing
and monitoring real-time power consumption of electronic
appliances.
Expected Outcomes
• A prototype or model of the Smart Home IoT based energy
metering system that records and display the real-time electrical
consumption of electrical devices on mobile application or an LCD.

Problem Statement 02 - CAD02
Domain - Electronics (VLSI Design)
• To design 4-bit flash Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) for high
speed applications. The objectives of the project are to design
sample and hold circuit, high efficient DAC circuit, to design a high
speed, low power and minimum delay CMOS comparator and
thermometer to binary code convertor logic
Expected Outcomes
• A prototype, model or netlist of the 4-bit flash Analog to Digital
Converter (ADC) circuit for high speed applications.
