Lessons learned from CEEās public building recommissioning program PBEEEP. Tasked with improving the energy performance of public buildings, PBEEEP aimed to transform Minnesotaās existing building commissioning market from an audit to an energy investigation. Program staff screened over nine hundred buildings to identify buildings where an energy investigation would be cost effective, then calculated site-specific energy savings to determine the paybacks of recommended energy efficiency measures. This process identified lower average savings for existing building commissioning than other studies, which is of note for policy makers and practitioners. All sites achieved energy savings, many while the study was in progress.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
Ā
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
The world of search engine optimization (SEO) is buzzing with discussions after Google confirmed that around 2,500 leaked internal documents related to its Search feature are indeed authentic. 20. LEEDĀ® India for New Construction
LEED-INDIA for New Construction and Major Renovations is a green building rating system that
helps to guide and design high-performance commercial buildings.
Eligibility:
Commercial buildings include (but are not limited to) offices, retail and service establishments,
institutional buildings (libraries, schools, museums, etc.,) hotels and buildings of four or more
habitable stories.
Basically, this programme is for those buildings where the design and operation is fully in the
scope and control of owner or the developer. (For leased out or rented spaces LEEDĀ® India
Core & Shell will be a better option)
If the application of LEED-INDIA for a particular building type is questionable, IGBC encourages
the project team to verify using LEED-INDIA checklists that are provided with each Rating
System.
The project is a viable candidate for LEED-INDIA certification if it can meet all prerequisites and
achieve the minimum number of points to earn the Certified level of LEED-INDIA project
certification.
