The Asia CCUS Network was launched at its first forum on June 22-23, 2021, as a collaborative platform for industry, academia, and governments aimed at improving carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) in the Asia region, involving participants from 13 East Asia Summit member countries and over 100 organizations. The network's mission focuses on knowledge sharing, research, and capacity building to facilitate the deployment of CCUS technologies to aid in regional decarbonization efforts. Discussions included financial frameworks, collaboration projects, and policy recommendations essential to advancing CCUS implementation across participating nations.
