Gaol Learning Experience
My three and a half months of working at the Huron County and Huron Historic
Gaol have flown by. Time has gone far too quickly and I cannot believe that my
time here has come to a close. I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given to
work at the museum and gaol this summer. It has been a learning experience that I
will never forget. I began working at the museum and gaol in May. The first month
centred on familiarizing myself with the two buildings and gaining and
understanding as to how they function. I spent time learning about the history of
both sites. I took place in an orientation for about the first two weeks of work. The
orientation was led by museum curator, Patricia Hamilton. I was guided through the
Huron County Museum, Huron Historic gaol and Sky Harbour Gallery with the

knowledge that we would need to know about the three sites in order to answer

Robotic surgery is increasingly being implemented to overcome drawbacks
associated with the use of conventional techniques such as laparoscopy, especially in
complex procedures. However, despite holding significant promise, robotic surgery is

assistance remains lacking[1].
The introduction of minimally invasive techniques to general surgery has been
described as the most dramatic change in surgery since the introduction of

laparoscopic approach, such as a cholecystectomy. Reasons include reduced blood
loss and post operative pain, reduced risk of infection, reduced length of hospital stay

On November 10, 2016 I attended Elf the Broadway Musical written by David
Berrenbaum and directed by Sam Scalamoni. Elf the Broadway Musical was
produced by Texas A M University and MSC OPAS. It was a comedic musical that
appealed to a wide variety of audience members. Elf the Broadway Musical was a
delightful surprise, since I had seen Elf (film) I expected the play to appeal more
to a younger audience, but I was surprised when I found myself laughing alongside
the two children sitting next to me. Before, I had seen this play I had been to a
handful of other popular plays such as The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Beauty
and the Beast, and Cinderella. For whatever reason I was not very excited to attend
Elf the Broadway Musical, but the second the play began I knew that my opinion
was about to change. As the play continued, I was in complete awe of this play
from the plot, the acting, and the technical side of the production. Overall this play

I know that the more times I skip, lactic acid will build up in my legs, from my own
experience this makes you fell horrible. As our bodies perform strenuous exercise,
we begin to breathe faster as we attempt to move more oxygen to our working
muscles. The body prefers to generate most of its energy using aerobic methods,
meaning with oxygen. The cells follow the aerobic process when the blood supplies
enough oxygen to the cells, which is: Glucose+ oxygen Carbon Dioxide+ water+
Energy. But when the blood cannot get the needed oxygen to the cells, it has to get
the energy from the glucose in another way. The cells use the anaerobic pathway; It
does this then by breaking glucose down into lactic acid, Glucose Lactic Acid+
Energy. Lactic acid is released into the muscles when they have used up glucose
stores but still have intense energy needs. Small amounts of lactic acid operate as a
temporary energy source, which helps you avoid fatigue during a workout.
However, a build up of lactic acid during a workout can create burning sensations
in the muscles that can slow down or halt your activity. This is not an effective
energy source for long periods of exercise, so the blood takes lactic acid to the liver
which coverts it back into glucose to be used in the normal aerobic process.

Today in life a major issue in the world is people being categorized. People are
always quick to make some assumptions before they get to know the person. No I
m not innocent; I have categorized before. A time when I categorized someone
was when I was in the store. It was an older man and he had this mean face on so I
thought he was rude and mean. I was wrong because when I saw him later in the
store he was saying hello to people and helping other people in the store that could

The band that I went to see was the Shapiro Brothers. The band consists of two
siblings, which includes a singer and a powerful guitarist. The lead singer is a
female and the lead guitarist is a male. The concert/live music took place at the
Louisiana Jazz Kitchen (Kansas City, Mo), which is a restaurant that is based off
Louisiana soul food. I am a regular customer at this restaurant, therefore I am familiar
with the bands that come to give a show, expect the Shapiro Brothers. Unfortunately, I
know little about the band and their musicbut they did give an amazing show, due to
