Lauren Schneider is proposing to redesign her photography website to showcase her skills and work samples to potential employers. The redesigned site will have a clean, organized structure highlighting her photography projects in a visually appealing way. It will also feature written works, video and audio clips. The goal is to effectively showcase her professional capabilities and experiences working internationally to attract job opportunities, especially in the fields of journalism, photojournalism and work with NGOs.

3.  The target audience would be potential employers. This is
complicated as the dream potential job would be working with
NGO’s internationally.
 I do not, however, want to exclude the option for non-NGO
opportunities or simply opportunities based in the U.S.
perhaps less focused on human rights and development

work and the type of work I am capable of producing

5.  I have a unique set of skills to offer and even more so a
unique background in experience and travel that can set me
apart from other potential photographers to hire
 My images and work are meant to be shown to as many
people as possible as my goal always in my work is to tell the
stories of other people. The world is an amazing and
fascinating place full of varying cultures and ideas and my
hope is that through my work I am helping to share a select
handful of moments in the lives of various people

9.  The most important component for my website should be my
photography work, specifically organized by project. It will
help to give the images context while not having to provide
copious amounts of text
 While looking at other photojournalism websites, I noticed it
is quite common to break down their photography work into
categories such as Portraits, Singles, Etc., while also
including their Projects separately. I also wanted to include a
bio/resume section for potential employers to get to know
me, include a contact page to make it easier for people to
contact me, a section to showcase my video/audio editing
skills, and lastly I want to include a section for the journalistic
pieces I have written
CONTENT - EXPLANATION

10.  On the home page I would like to have a few images rotating
through, so when you land on my website, you can
immediately see 3-4 of my best images to help draw the
viewer in to stay longer and explore
 On the multimedia page I would like to have my sound slides I
have created available to be seen just by clicking play. I
would also like to have several single images each embedded
with an audio clip. The image will be a single image to
represent the key person speaking in the audio recording
