1. Final evaluation
In this documentI will be evaluating my work on the website. I will be talking
about whatthe website use to be before it was final and what changes I made.
I will talk whereI got the information I put on the websiteand what
programmes of production I used.
I used a glow on the bar so when people hover over the button, the buttons
change and glow. I used the glow because it looks better it makes it more
interesting and so people can see whatbutton they are on further more it
shows theuse that the buttons are working and active.
I used the colours blue, red and yellow because they representmy superhero
most. I kept the same colour scheme throughoutthe website. I used a
complimentary colour scheme. My age group is teens so I made it easy to
understand and work on so it could be easy for the teens. I didn’t useso much
writing becauseteenagers don’treally like to read.
I used Dreamweaver to create my website. On Dreamweaver I linked my
images to the websiteI got them from, this was good because when people
click on them from my website they will be sent to the other websitewhere I

comic book store. I put the link of the comic book website on the logo of the
comic book store. On the website I also put a screenshotof the comic book
storeon a map so you roughly know whereit’s at. I also enrolled images on
the website. Most of the information I put on the website I got fromthe
internet for example the BIO I found the information on the internet and used
it for example his age and his powers. I managed my time very well I finished it
really quick, quicker than I expected. I found it easy to work on Dreamweaver
even though it was my firsttime creating a website. My website was originally
on PowerPoint. I didn’treally change anything so my final design was the same
as I created it. On the home page I have a picture of superman flying I only
used that picture on the home page.
When the pages are loading the pages load the same they don’t lag or anything
even though somepages havemore pictures and writing on them. I kept all the
dimensions of the buttons the same so everything was equal so it wouldn’t
look weird and unorganised. I keptthe writing the samefont and size on all
pages except on the home page I made the writing a little bit bigger.
I think my overall performancewas good I got some really good feedback.
Some people said “I like the colours you have used it fits in perfect with the
superman theme”. All of the feedback I got was positive. I didn’tget any
negative feedback everyonesaid they liked it.
If I wereto do this again I don’t think I would change anything except the
merchandise. I would keep everything else. I put a lot of effort in it to make it
to my best ability that’s why I don’tthink I would change anything except
spend more time and make the layout better.
