The document outlines a proposal for an advert for MUA makeup academy. The advert will be filmed in a nature center and feature three models of different ethnicities to show that everyone can feel good in their own skin. The advert will start with the MUA logo and then show the models embracing nature in a dreamlike fantasy world with peaceful music. It will include shots of the models joking around, blowing glitter at the camera, and wearing different makeup styles to promote the products.

1. Final Proposal
I have decided to create an advert for MUA make up academy. This advert will be
created in a nature centre to show a natural range of make-up. I want to use
three women models from different ethnic backgrounds showing that each and
every person can look good in there own skin. I want my advert to start off with
the MUA make up academy logo and then go into a fantasy type dream of the
models in a wonderful world where you have them embracing nature with
peaceful dreamlike music in the background. I want some shoots of them
messing around and joking about with one another. Other shots I want are of the
models blowing glitter into the camera. Showing them happy and messing
around in a dreamlike world with the logo in a tiny box below the advert. I want
the advert to be around a minute long showing the models with all different
styles and different coloured make up this therefore will promote more people to
buy the products.
How I am going to shoot the product
The green grass and MUA logo the camera pans up to the model and then the
logo fades. Then there is a close up shot of the model with her eye makeup
showing. Then the camera cuts to one model coming out from behind a tree then
another model coming from behind a tree with a sparkle fairy like background.
Then the girl goes up to the camera and blows glitter such as fairy dust at the
camera. Then we have a dip to white effect whereby one model is having a piggy
back from the other model. The into a shot looking down at one of the models
focusing upon her eye make up. Next the camera pans to one of the models
posing upon a bridge. Slanting as she is posing. Next there is another shot of the
model inhaling the glitter. Next comes a clip of all three of the models standing
together. Then two models embracing nature with their arms stretched out.
Then another shot of a model posing undernearth a tepee like den. Then this
time all the models blow glitter into the camera. Then last shot with a close up
side on view with a single model.
Then the audience can look into the products as I display them out in front of
camera showing all the products that the models have used for this shot. I want a
sparkly filter over the top to show they are still in a ‘wonderland like dream’.
Then a shot of the sky, with a pink balloon, falling down from the sky into a hand.
Last shot of the Models walking off the shot with the logo of MUA and a slogan
saying you in a different light.
As I have created a storyboard so that you can understand it visually but in
greater detail.
