2. Things I learned:
I learned a lot with this particular project. For one, my design
before this was not very professional and had an awful color
scheme. After many critiques, I cleaned up the flyer and design
and made it much more professional. I used a high quality image
of the Grand Canyon as my backround image. One thing I found
challenging in this project was creating a logo. If I could change
anything I would change my logo design to better incorporate the
texture of the canyon.
Programs Used:
For this project I used primarily Adobe InDesign. InDesign is ideal
for creating any kind of advertisement or flyer.
Project Overview:
The idea of the project was to create a flyer for any national
park in the United States. I happen to choose one of the most
popular spots, the Grand Canyon. We had to include two pic-
tures aside from the pictures of the actual park.
Fonts
I used a script font for the upper header, and sans serif for the
main body fonts
Color Scheme
For this color scheme, I used complementary orange and blue

Things I learned:
Things I learned: Through creating this flyer, it opened my eyes
that professsional level flyers are very difficult to make. It was
hard finding an image that I liked that still fit well with what i was
going for, and still went along with the color scheme. The one im-
portant thing I took away from this is that you shouldnt be afraid
to turn a flyer horizontal. I managed to get a lot more space on my

Things I learned:
Suprisingly this project opened up my eyes to how awful I was
with typography. I learned that decorative and script fonts really
dont go well together. I couldve done a lot to improve this project.
I think If I chose more sans serif fonts it would look a lot better
Programs Used:
I used Adobe InDesign for this project.
Project Overview:
This is the very first project we did in class. The idea of the
project was to create four different quadrants with 4 different
variations of typography.
