This document describes the process of creating a magazine cover across two drafts. In the first draft, the author experimented with background colors and gradients, positioned images, and worked on the masthead font. Plugs were added and repositioned until the final draft 1 was completed. In the second draft, the author made adjustments as stated in draft 1 and felt the results were more visually appealing and professional with a consistent color scheme and fonts.
3. This is the beginning of my first draft. I had a block colour
background to start with, I then added a gradient to make the
page visually appealing. I then positioned the puff where it looked
best. I have worked around my first layout design on this draft.
4. After positioning the puff and altering the background, I then
worked on the masthead, at first I tried the font that I chose
originally. However in future drafts, I think I will change the
masthead font.
5. Here I have added the plugs, I will go on the mess around with the
layout of the plugs.
7. I have added all the plugs to the magazine cover, this is the final
draft 1.

10. Draft 2-
I have completed the
adjustments to my front cover
that I stated on my first draft.
I feel that this draft looks
better, visually appealing and
more professional. The overall
look of the magazine cover is
good, the colours scheme and
fonts are consistent to give it a
professional look.
I will develop my second draft
to produce my final front
cover.
