FILM TRAILER IDEAS
Idea one:
◦ A thriller. Based on true stories from Stalins
concentration camps. A horror based story
that involves Zombies, murder and lots and
lots of gore.
Plot: Modern day Russia over the lands
where the former gulags stood. All is quiet
and peaceful until the clock strikes midnight
and corpses slowly begin to decked out of
the ground. The corpses want revenge on the
families of those who killed them. No one is
safe.
◦ The idea is based on a horror thriller called
Outpost.
Idea two :
◦ A romance. Set in the 40's and about a
solider who goes to war and his fight to get
back home to the one women he loves.
◦ Plot
◦ Follow the story of Isabelle and Matthew,
the couple separated by war. Matthew is
taken as a POW during a siege and fears
he'll never see his love again. Follow his
fight to survive the war and get back
Home,
◦ Filmed in Black and white to create a more
old film feel to it.
Idea 3 :
◦ Action film. Secret service force, tackling
an enemy who threatens to eliminate the
entire Royal family.
◦ Plot.
◦ When threats begin to flood in threatening
each royal family member in the UK, MI8
agents must spring into action to find this
group, who want to destroy the royal
family. Friendships will form, relationships
will break, enemies become friends and
friends become enemies.
Opinion
◦ I choose to not focus on creating a film trailer for my A2 Level final piece . This is mostly due to
having created a film trailer as part of my AS final piece. I did, however throughly enjoyed
creating a film trailer and saw that a lot goes into the work and effort of the production.
◦ However, I did not want to repeat the same final project I did for AS for my A2 final project. I
wanted to do a music video as I wanted to challenge myself. I feel that with a music video I can
challenge myself further and show off the skills I had learnt at AS and take them to another
level. I also felt I could get more creative and use my imagination more with a music video than I
could with a film trailer, as I had more idea that would be a lot easier to create for a music video
than with a film trailer.
