2. Poster
The Poster features the main 3 characters of the movie. They have
placed Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter the main character In the
very centre of the poster with him also being the closest in frame
to the camera making him look larger. he also has Emma Watson
and Rupert Grint stood to his left and right who are also main
actors in the film. They are all shown in dirty clothes and in rough
states with cuts on them and dirt but all shown holding there
wands which is represented in the film to show the use of magic
and strength even though they aren’t in a great state. Within the
deeper background there are also lots of students who are clearly
showing again the strength army they are going to have in this
film as this film is significantly focused on the action part of the
movies. Even though the franchise focuses mainly at a younger
audience but has that large of an audience now that it is liked by
all people. But this means unlike in last posters they look much
more nice and pleasant they have gone for a much darker style
which has a stronger appeal to an older audience. The colouring
used throughout this poster are dark with mostly blues and greys.
There is some red on both Emma and Rupert’s tops which can link
to something bad possibly for them or distance with them and
Daniel in this movie which would be different as they have been
shown so close in the before films. The dark colours have been
used to create a scary image with flames of fire being spat over
the top of the colours gives a show of over slight oranges which
can all link to the war/action which is going to be shown In the
movie at its most ever in the franchise. The colour scheme appeals
again to an older audience as it can be more relatable to them but
the characters being so obviously placed makes it still appeal to a
young audience whom might of watched the pervious films
3. Trailer
The trailer starts of by showing lots of flashbacks through out
the other movies to give strong memories back to fans whom
remember these and have feelings about this giving a stronger
connection for upcoming footage. They then show clips of the
upcoming movie starting with the screenshot to the right of the
trailer where there are death eaters surrounding Hogwarts
within a scenery of Hogwarts we haven't been shown before,
dark and black with know lighting to show the building but only
its outlines with the death eaters outlines positioned around it
showing a side the poster did not I studied as it is showing
strength on the bad which can be a big emotion change from
seeing the nice flashbacks a second ago. It then shows some
main features of the movie such as a dragon, another mythical
creature being shown within a trailer of Harry Potter to show
the fantasy side which can be very appealing to some
audiences. It then shows Voldermort the main bad guy with an
army again at Hogwarts with a text image saying ‘It all ends’
‘Where it all began’ which again can be reflected for the fans of
Harry Potter and build hype as there is going to be so much
action scene in a place with normally peace. The overall content
is action with some signs of romance shown with Harry to again
create hype for maybe the girls of the audience/fans as there is
lots of sides to the story being built up and shown throughout
the franchise and as this is the last movie it is very important.
The overall speed of the trailer is very fast pass with lots of busy
shots being shown giving lots of information as quickly as they
can within the minutes of the trailer but at the same time not
revealing lots about the movie. The music being used is the
same as they have used within the movies as always by John
Williams with an orchestra etc. As the music is the same you
instantly here it as ‘Harry Potter Music’. They have also used on
screen pop-ups of text within pauses of sound to build the
energy throughout the trailer. The sound for the trailer creates
thrill and strong focus when you are watching the trailer.

4. Interview on June 30th film release July 15th
Bonnie Laufer is interviewing Daniel Radcliffe main actor
from Harry Potter, talking/asking Daniel about his time
during the film and some questions which have been asked
by many fans. As Daniel originates from London he has a
very posh easy going accent which brings a wider audience
as he can be easily understood by all. The interview took
place in June and was released on 30th June which is just
under a month before the release of the film which is the
marketing behind it. As the hype will be building for the
release of the film by interview main stars from the movie
builds up even more pre-hype for already existing fans and
for new fans who will get to see an action packed/ intense
emotional drama which has not been scene that much
before within the films which Daniel talks about within the
interview. The reason for Daniel being chosen for the
interview is he is the main image of the movie as for many
people they have seen him grow up during the course of
the 10 years making of the movie there has been lots of
change for both actor and audience with almost a
gathering/family built as the fans as it has been growing for
so long. Over the time of Daniels making of the films he has
built fan base much bigger then just the fans from the
movie but as a growth on his social media such as twitter
he has founded people from outside the franchise making
references to ‘Daniel Radcliffe all link back and most likely
eventually see the Harry Potter things he is doing (a tweet
about him on stage for the next movie or modelling etc). By
then doing interviews etc increases this fan base again as
different audiences from older or younger might see on
different platforms from the internet to TV shows. https://www.youtube.com/wa
