The film genre will be a supernatural/slasher horror film. I chose this type of
horror film because these are the type of films I like and I like the special effects
that are used in these films.
Synopsis of Idea

In my film you would see most of the place the film is set which is the woods
and its filmed from all different angles to show the audience what the area im
filming is like during daytime and nightime. I chose this to give the audience a
better idea of the setting.
Shots of the killers mask will appear in the film opening title sequence to give
the audience an idea of what the mask will look like, shots of the top of the
woods and around the woods will be shown at the beginning.
Shots of some of the character will be shown near the end of the opening
sequence, to give a narrative of the opening sequence.
Target Audience?

The film would be mostly be teenagers and young adults but everyone can
watch it, just some parts that won’t be acceptable for young children to watch. I
chose this specific demographic target audience because it is the same target
audience Im in so it would be easier me to know what to put In the film to
attract that audience.
Adding bits such as the glimpses of the killers mask , and the character so they
can get an idea of what to expect to happen, also this will make them more
interested in wanting to watch it.
How will your
project meet the
needs of your
target audience?
My project will meet the needs of my target audience by having music in the
background which would attract that audience, and show things in the project
that will scare them and make the interested in the film.
Using shots that will give them an idea of what or where the opening sequence
is to show them something they like to see in horror films so they enjoy it, such
as some types of jumpscares etc.

The film opening title credits will be a dark background of the woods and having
the camera move quickly between the trees and cutaway to the house in the
woods and then the titles will come up and blood will appear around it.The
credits will be a dark black and white colour.
